PLOT
Dr.
Shaina Mehra, a talented psychiatrist residing in the vibrant city of Warsaw,
Poland, finds her life taking an unexpected turn when her father, Brijesh,
approaches her with a unique proposal. He suggests that she meet Himanshu
Tyagi, a police officer and the son of a close friend. Little does Shaina know
that this encounter will set off a chain of events that she could never have
anticipated.
Their
first meeting takes place aboard a train, where Shaina begins to open up about
her past relationship with a man named Devi Lal Singh. She shares the thrilling
and sometimes amusing experiences she had with Devi, a man who lived life on
the edge, constantly seeking the next adrenaline rush. Shaina's journey with
Devi begins when she helps her friend, Vidhi, elope with Devi's friend,
Jignesh, in Delhi. What follows is a comical and eventful chase, with Devi not
only ensuring Vidhi and Jignesh's marriage but also helping Vidhi's mother make
it to the temple for the ceremony. Shaina and Devi's paths cross, leading to
their own romantic journey.
In
an attempt to please Shaina and her father, Devi secures a job in a chemical
lab. However, he quickly realizes that the mundane routine doesn't provide the
thrill he craves. His inability to resist the lure of excitement leads to a
breakup with Shaina, as he decides that his new "kick" is chasing
money. In response, Shaina eventually relocates to Warsaw, where she juggles
her life and her father's persistent desire to see her married.
Simultaneously,
Himanshu shares his ongoing struggle with a notorious thief named Devil, who
targets wealthy individuals associated with the corrupt businessman Shiv Gajra.
The thief's true identity is none other than Devi himself, who continues to
evade Himanshu's capture. Their cat-and-mouse game intensifies when Devi
contacts Himanshu, taunting him as a "loser" and leaving behind
clues.
Shaina
unexpectedly crosses paths with Devi in Warsaw, who appears to have lost his
memory due to an accident. She offers to treat him, a referral from Dr. Jayant
Verma, and takes him into her care. However, Devi's memory loss is a ruse,
concealing his true plan: befriending and deceiving Himanshu while preparing to
rob Shiv, who is expected to arrive in Poland. Devi executes a daring heist at
a charity function, but his cover is blown when Himanshu and Shaina uncover his
true intentions. Devi is cornered, seemingly drowning in the process, only to
miraculously escape.
Dev's
father, Ratan Lal, later reveals the altruistic motives behind his son's
actions through a flashback. Devi has been robbing to fund medical treatments
for impoverished children battling diseases. One girl, Jhumki, profoundly
impacted him by smiling at him after he saved her from a dire situation.
Learning about the plight of other ailing children, Devi decided to use his
criminal activities to secure funds for their treatment, as it provided him
with the ultimate "kick."
In
the present day, Himanshu locates Devi in a Delhi bar and warns him against
further robberies, with a looming deadline on November 14th. Devi challenges
Himanshu to either eliminate him that day or face his return on November 15th,
rendering Himanshu powerless.
On
November 14th, a dramatic showdown unfolds as Devi confronts Shiv's henchmen
and successfully eliminates him. Himanshu, ready to fulfill his duty, aims to
shoot Devi, but a group of children unexpectedly intervenes, preventing the
officer from taking the shot. Realization dawns on Himanshu as he comprehends
the purpose behind Devi's criminal activities — the well-being of the children
he has been helping. It turns out that it is Children's Day on November 15th.
True
to his word, Devi appears at the police station on November 15th, leaving
Himanshu in a state of powerlessness. He takes over the case and expresses
gratitude to Himanshu, clarifying that his fight was never against Himanshu but
against the corrupt system. Devi has now joined the police force, prepared to
make a difference from within.
